What is therpeutic yoga?

While all yoga is considered therapeutic, therapeutic yoga is specifically targeted to one person’s ailments, injuries, or imbalances. Through understanding the body’s anatomy and physiology, a specific and gentle set of poses, stretches, and breathing techniques will be given to help aid in the healing of these issues.

What is a session like / what should I expect?

In our first session, we will discuss your symptoms, your lifestyle, and your goals. We will work through different yoga poses/stretches together to find a plan that works best for you. You will be given a stretch or 2 to do at home. At each visit thereafter, we will track progress and potentially add on more poses/stretches to do at home. Each visit will be 60 minutes long and you will be fully guided through a yoga practice targeted at your specific goals. Wear comfortable clothes!

How long does it take to see results?

Every body is different! Some will feel immediate relief and others may take a few sessions. Consistency is key!
